Ingredients:

For the Dough:
240 ml warm milk
2.25 teaspoons active dry yeast
100 grams granulated sugar
115 grams unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon salt
500 grams all-purpose flour
240 grams mashed banana (from 2–3 medium bananas)

For the Filling:
115 grams unsalted butter, softened
200 grams brown sugar
16 grams ground cinnamon
60 grams chopped walnuts (optional)

For the Cream Cheese Icing:
115 grams cream cheese, softened
56 grams unsalted butter, softened
180 grams powdered sugar
2.5 ml vanilla extract

Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and granulated sugar. Let sit for about 5 minutes until the mixture becomes foamy.
2. Add melted butter, eggs, salt, and mashed banana. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
3. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with brown sugar and cinnamon to create the filling.
6. Roll the dough into a 50 x 35 cm rectangle. Spread the filling evenly and sprinkle walnuts if using.
7. Roll the dough tightly from the long edge and slice into 12 equal rolls.
8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
9. Bake the rolls for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.
10. While baking, mix the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
11. Spread the icing over warm rolls before serving.
