Crack Chicken Burgers
Ingredients:
For the Burgers:
1 lb ground chicken
½ cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or 2 tbsp homemade ranch seasoning)
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
4 burger buns (optional: toasted)
Lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, or any other preferred toppings
Directions:
Prepare the Burger Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Use your hands or a spoon to mix everything together until fully combined. Be careful not to overmix to keep the texture tender.
Form the Patties:
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty. Ensure the patties are even in thickness to ensure they cook evenly.
Cook the Burgers:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
Once the pan is hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the outside is golden brown and crispy.
If you prefer to cook them on the grill, preheat your grill to medium heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side.
Assemble the Burgers:
Toast the burger buns in the skillet or on the grill if desired.
Place each patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun. Top with your preferred garnishes like lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, or any other toppings you love.
Serve:
Serve the Crack Chicken Burgers hot with a side of fries, chips, or a fresh salad. Enjoy the creamy, cheesy, bacon-filled goodness of these burgers!
