Cracked Out Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups frozen tater tots
8 large eggs
1 cup milk
1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Spread the cooked sausage evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.
Layer 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese over the sausage, followed by an even layer of frozen tater tots.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and ranch dressing mix. Pour this mixture evenly over the tater tots.
Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, garnish with green onions if desired, and serve.
