Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

Ingredients
1 lb (450g) breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or your preferred variety)
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes and green chilies (like Rotel), drained
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 ½ cups Bisquick or any baking mix
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Prepare the Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and breakfast sausage. Mix until well blended.
Stir in the drained diced tomatoes and green chilies, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese.
Add the Bisquick, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
3. Shape the Balls:
Using your hands, scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Place each ball onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
4. Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
5. Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm as a delicious appetizer!
