Tater Tot Sausage Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients:
1 pound breakfast sausage (bulk or casing removed)
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup milk
6 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup green onions, chopped (optional)

Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook Sausage: In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat, breaking it up into crumbles as it cooks. Cook until browned and cooked through (about 7-10 minutes). Drain any excess grease and set aside.
Prepare Eggs: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Assemble the Casserole: Spread the frozen tater tots evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Layer the cooked sausage over the tater tots, followed by the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the top.
Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are fully set, the cheese is melted, and the casserole is golden and bubbly.
Garnish and Serve: Once the casserole is done, sprinkle with chopped green onions if desired for an added pop of color and flavor.
