A Spicy Chicken Caesar Croissant Sandwich

Ingredients:
For the Spicy Chicken:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika (or cayenne for extra heat)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra spice)
For the Caesar Dressing:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Sandwich:
4 large croissants
2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1/4 cup additional grated Parmesan cheese
Sliced tomatoes (optional)

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Spicy Chicken:
Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Coat the chicken breasts in the spice mixture and grill or cook in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
2. Make the Caesar Dressing:
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed.
3. Assemble the Sandwich:
Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
Spread a generous amount of Caesar dressing on the bottom half of each croissant.
Layer with chopped romaine lettuce, sliced spicy chicken, and additional grated Parmesan cheese. Add sliced tomatoes if desired.
Top with the other half of the croissant.
4. Serve:
Serve the Spicy Chicken Caesar Croissant Sandwiches immediately, with extra Caesar dressing on the side if desired.
