Cajun Honey Butter Salmon

Cajun Honey Butter Salmon

Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup unsalted butter
3 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
Season the salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel, then sprinkle them evenly with the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Cook the salmon: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down (if skin-on), and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has a nice sear. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
Make the honey butter sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter.
Once the butter is melted, stir in the honey, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Coat the salmon: Return the cooked salmon to the skillet and spoon the honey butter sauce over the fillets, coating them well.
Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
