Ham and Cheese Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients:
1 (32 oz) bag frozen hash browns, thawed
2 cups diced cooked ham
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 ½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup crushed cornflakes (optional, for topping)
2 tbsp melted butter (optional, for topping)

Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the hash browns, diced ham, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, and chopped onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer to Baking Dish: Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Add Topping (Optional): For a crispy topping, mix crushed cornflakes with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
Bake: Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown on top.
Serve: Let cool slightly, then serve warm.
