Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dough
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup raspberry jam or preserves
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tablespoon sugar (for sprinkling)
Fresh raspberries and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Directions:
Prepare Oven and Dough:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Make Cream Cheese Filling:
In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Assemble Crescent Ring:
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles. Arrange the triangles in a circular pattern on the prepared baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends to form a ring.
Add Cream Cheese Filling:
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the center of the crescent ring.
Add Raspberry Jam:
Spoon the raspberry jam over the cream cheese filling. Swirl gently with a knife to combine slightly.
Fold and Seal:
Fold the pointed ends of the crescent triangles over the filling, tucking them under to seal the ring. Brush the top with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake the Crescent Ring:
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and the filling is set.

Cool and Garnish:
Allow to cool slightly before garnishing with fresh raspberries and mint leaves if desired. Slice and serve warm.
