Strawberry Brownies
Ingredients:
1 box strawberry cake mix (about 15.25 oz)
2 large eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
For the glaze (optional):
1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
Mix the batter: In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until a thick batter forms.
Spread in the pan: Press the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan. It will be thick and sticky, so you may need to use a spatula or your hands (lightly greased).
Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean. The brownies will continue to firm up as they cool.
Cool completely in the pan before glazing or cutting.
Make the glaze (optional): In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled brownies.
Cut and serve: Once the glaze is set, cut the brownies into squares and enjoy!
