Slow Cooker Cheddar Corn

Ingredients:
4 cups corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into cubes
1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for a touch of sweetness)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions:
Prepare the Slow Cooker: Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with a bit of butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Combine Ingredients: Add corn, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, heavy cream, butter, sugar (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker. Stir to mix everything well.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy. Stir halfway through if possible.
Serve: Once done, give it a final stir and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh chives or parsley if desired.
