Beef Stuffed Shells Ricotta
Ingredients:
• 12 jumbo pasta shells
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 cup ricotta cheese
• 1 cup marinara sauce
• 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
• 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• Salt to taste
• Pepper to taste
Instructions:
• Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Cook jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and allow to cool.
• In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat and mix in the marinara sauce. Remove from heat.
• In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a creamy filling.
• Fill each cooked pasta shell with the ricotta mixture. Arrange the filled shells in a baking dish.
• Top the filled shells with the beef and marinara sauce mixture. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
• Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.
