Blackstone Cheeseburger Quesadilla
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
8 flour tortillas (medium size)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon butter or oil (for cooking)
Optional toppings: pickles, diced tomatoes, lettuce, jalapeños, etc.
Directions:
Cook the Beef:
Preheat the Blackstone griddle (or a skillet) to medium-high heat.
Add a bit of oil or butter to the griddle. Sauté the chopped onions for 2-3 minutes until softened.
Add the ground beef to the griddle and cook, breaking it up with a spatula until browned and fully cooked, about 7-8 minutes.
Season with Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
Assemble the Quesadillas:
Lay one tortilla on the preheated Blackstone griddle or a clean skillet.
Sprinkle a handful of shredded cheddar cheese over half of the tortilla.
Add a generous amount of the cooked cheeseburger mixture on top of the cheese. Add any additional toppings such as pickles, diced tomatoes, or jalapeños.
Sprinkle another layer of cheese on top of the meat mixture, and fold the tortilla in half.
Cook the Quesadillas:
Cook the quesadilla for 2-3 minutes on each side until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted. Repeat for the remaining tortillas and beef mixture.
Serve:
Slice the quesadillas into triangles and serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or ranch.
