1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)
Directions:
Prepare the Dough:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle or circle, about 1/4-inch thick.
Garlic Butter Mixture:
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Assemble the Breadsticks:
Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the dough, making sure to cover the edges as well.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the breadsticks are golden brown.
Slice and Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Slice the cheesy garlic bread into breadsticks using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
Dipping Sauce:
Serve the breadsticks warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
