Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups Recipe
Ingredients:
4 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon butter
4 sausage links (cooked and chopped)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large flour tortillas
Salsa or hot sauce (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
Prepare the Eggs:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Scramble the Eggs:
In a large nonstick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook, stirring gently, until the eggs are just set. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Roll-Ups:
Lay out the tortillas on a flat surface. Divide the scrambled eggs evenly among the tortillas, placing them in a line down the center of each tortilla.
Sprinkle the chopped sausage and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the eggs.
Roll Up the Tortillas:
Fold in the sides of each tortilla, then roll them up tightly from the bottom to the top to enclose the filling.
Heat the Roll-Ups:
Place the roll-ups seam-side down in the skillet over medium heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve:
Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving. Serve with salsa or hot sauce if desired.
