4th of July Fluffy Slime

4th of July Fluffy Slime
Ingredients:
– 3 cups white school glue (1 cup per color)
– 3 cups shaving cream (not gel)
– 1 1/2 tsp baking soda (1/2 tsp per color)
– 3 tbsp saline/contact solution (1 tbsp per color)
– Red food coloring
– Blue food coloring
– Glitter, star sequins, or confetti (optional)
– Mixing bowls
– Spoons
– Airtight containers

Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue, 1 cup of shaving cream, and 1/2 tsp of baking soda for your first color. Stir the mixture well until fully combined.

2. Repeat step 1 in two additional mixing bowls for the second and third colors. For the second bowl, add red food coloring, and mix until the color is smooth and uniform. In the third bowl, add blue food coloring and mix until well-blended. You can leave the last mixture white. Optionally, add glitter or star sequins to each bowl for added sparkle.

3. Once the colors are prepared, add 1 tbsp of saline/contact solution to each bowl. Stir each mixture until the slime starts to form and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.

4. After the slime begins to come together, knead it with your hands. If the slime is too sticky, you can add a little more saline solution to help achieve the desired consistency.

5. Gently combine the three colors together to create a swirl effect, showcasing the red, white, and blue colors. Stretch and squish the slime to enjoy the soft, pillowy texture!

Tips & Variations:
