4. PARATHA (Layered Flatbread)
Ingredients
• 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
• 1/2 cup Water
• 2 tbsp Ghee or Oil
• 1/2 tsp Salt
Instructions
1. Mix flour and salt.
2. Add water and knead into soft dough.
3. Rest for 20 minutes.
4. Divide into balls and roll flat.
5. Apply ghee, fold, and roll again.
6. Cook on a hot pan with oil until golden on both sides.
5. ROTI (Chapati)
Ingredients
• 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
• 3/4 cup Water
• 1 tbsp Oil
• 1/2 tsp Salt
Instructions
1. Mix flour and salt.
2. Add water and oil to form dough.
3. Knead until smooth and rest for 15 minutes.
4. Divide into balls and roll thin.
5. Cook on a hot pan until bubbles form.
6. Flip and cook until fully done.
6. FOCACCIA (Italian Flatbread)
Ingredients
• 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
• 1 cup Warm Water
• 2 tsp Instant Yeast
• 1 tsp Salt
• 3 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
1. Mix yeast with warm water and rest 5 minutes.
2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil.
3. Mix to form sticky dough.
4. Cover and let rise for 1–1.5 hours.
5. Spread dough on oiled baking tray.
6. Press fingers to make dimples.
7. Drizzle olive oil on top.
8. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
